Kyengera: Police Probe Sudden Death of Sex Worker

Nsangi Police Division has commenced investigations into the sudden death of Patricia, a sex worker residing in Kasenge, Kyengera Town Council, Wakiso District. The incident occurred on 9th September 2025 under circumstances that remain unclear.

Preliminary findings indicate that Patricia had been in the company of Muwonge Godi, alias Kabaka Aperu, at Sanyuka Lodge, where they had booked a room for Shs 10,000 since 7th September 2025. Reports suggest the two would spend their nights drinking and return in the mornings to rest. On the morning of 9th September, the pair returned to the lodge at around 9:00 am. Patricia was reportedly heavily intoxicated and unable to enter the room. Muwonge Godi attempted to assist her by purchasing milk, but shortly afterward, Patricia was found dead. He subsequently fled the scene.

Police were alerted and immediately responded. Detectives examined the scene, recovered a milk container, and recorded witness statements. The deceased’s body was conveyed to the City Mortuary for a postmortem examination to establish the exact cause of death.

A death inquiry file has been opened at Nsangi Police Division, and efforts are underway to trace Muwonge Godi for questioning. The postmortem report is expected to provide vital insights into the circumstances surrounding Patricia’s death.
