Musician turned politician, Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine says he no longer makes meaningful money from his job as a musician.
Bobi Wine claims he is barred from performing at many shows by government yet music is his major source of income.
Bobi Wine, who is currently in America is asking for financial assistance to support not just his political activities but also his day to day family needs.
Bobi Wine was given money during a prayer session in America, and he is expected to return in Uganda on Thursday. He expressed fear that he could be arrested upon his arrival at Entebbe Airport. Government spokesperson, Ofwono Opondo however dismissed the claims saying that there are no plans to arrest the Kyadondo East legislator. Opondo says Bobi Wine is a Ugandan like any other and has the right to go in and out of the country.
